冒頭からご報告させて頂きます。

一昨年10月21日付けで、同アイテム(デッドストック/14インチの在庫終了9枚目が落札され、
終了の運びとなりましたが、実はもう少し丁寧にご説明致しますと、
20数年前から大変お世話になっておりました、
今は無き、SONYの子会社だった某企業外商部の関係者から内密にて要望があり、
デッドストック保管品、14インチ用16：9マスクが10枚、
20インチ用16：9マスクが5枚、9インチ用16：9マスクが5枚、
計20枚を適正価格で一掃購入させて頂いたのが入手に至った経緯でした。

では何故、前回9枚目で在庫終了と記載したのかと申しますと、
最後の10枚目に限り、現在自身が所有しております、
「SONY BVM-D14H5J」の16：9マスクを、
デッドストックに付け替えることを視野にそう記載しておりましたが、
この度予定を変更し、今回、最後の一枚を出品することに致しました。

当16：9マスクは、元箱こそないものの、
出荷時の元袋(傷み有り)のある完全なデッドストックであり、
今まで一度とすら本体へは装着しておらず、
既に生産終了の非常に希少なオプション・パーツですので、

まずは折に触れ、ここオークション「ヤフオク」でも、
BVM/PVMシリーズの業務用元より、放送業務用モニターが出品されておりますが、
しかし残念ながら、その幾つかが現在主流のハイビジョンに伴った、
HD(16：9)対応モニターであるにも関わらず、決して上記に相応しくない、
SD用/4：3マスクが装着されているのが現状です。

何故、SD用/4：3マスクが多く装着されているのかご説明致しますと、
それは、ソニーがマスク着脱式/マルチフォーマットモニターをリリースした当時、
まだまだ時代は、SDフォーマット(4：3)が幅を効かせていたこともあり、
映像の現場でも、SD編集を始めとする作業が主だったからの他ではありません。

勿論、HD対応モニターであれば、装着マスクに何ら関係なく、
アスペクト比の切り替えにより、16：9で表示出来るのは当然ですが、
ただ、それでは上下ブランクスペースの黒味がどうしても目ざわりで、
16：9の表示範囲に沿ぐわない、4：3マスクの装着には違和感を拭えません。

そこで、表示される映像のワクを、しっかりとホールドする、
この16：9マスクの装着により、見た目の存在感もさることながら、
不思議と映像もクッキリ締まって見えるものです。

状態に付きましては、搭載写真をご覧のように、
元箱(元袋付き)が欠品していることもあり、
極々僅かなスレ等が見受けられますが、
正真正銘の長期保管品デッドストックです。
